In 'Dream of the Weave,' follow David, a struggling Nigerian comic book writer plagued by writer's block and grief over his late brother. Seeking inspiration, he embarks on a surreal journey where his creative torment takes the form of Weave, a character fighting off relentless bounty hunters on an enigmatic planet. Through this otherworldly struggle, David finds renewed purpose, triumphs over despair, and returns to his writing desk with newfound determination. This tale of resilience reminds us that creativity can emerge from the darkest depths, offering unexpected inspiration even within our wildest dreams. The film won the Audience Choice Award at the Nefti Film Competition and drew praises from influential figures in Hollywood, including Paul Robinson, Founder of Nefti film competition, Vivica A.
